Stanley/Gibbs/Payne School Queries

The query(ies) below are from those who have questions related to the school building.

From James N. Brink:  I attended Stanley 1928-1935.  Do you have any lists of students attending those years?  If so I'd be interested in getting those names.  Marian Ayrault and I are trying to recall the names and so far probably have only half the names in each class.  Thanks in advance for any information.

The lists of students attending the schools of USD 500 are kept by the Office of Parent and Youth Services. You would need to speak directly with their office to see if this information can be obtained - (913) 279-2249. I, myself, am not sure of the privacy issues on this if the school district releases the information. The Assistant Superintendent in charge of this department is Mr. James White.

You might also check with the public library - both the main KCKs Public Library at (913) 551-3280 and also the Argentine Branch Library at (913) 722-7400 - to see if they have any of the old year books. If not, they may have suggestions for the research on this.
