"The
four room school house served until 1938-39 when a one story building
was added to the remodeled old structure as well as a combination
gym and auditorium Additions were made in 1948, 1952, and 1955,
giving a total of twenty classrooms, a health room, and an office.
There was also a small library. Each room had it's own book case
full of books that were completely read each year by several students....."
The 1972-73 school year saw the opening of a new modern open concept
building on campus into which moved the fifth and sixth grades and
the library. It has since become the nucleus of the present building.
